The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, this being a family run hotel.  Although only rated as a 1 star hotel in Venice, it is of a higher quality than a hostel.  You will find yourself very comfortable here, in a spacious room, modernly decorated and ensuite bathroom.  There is hot and cold running water.  Your breakfast which is very good is included in the price of the hotel room.  There are 23 rooms, of which 17 overlook the Rio Della Fava Canal.
