Cheap Hotels Venice Ai Tolentini

Cheap Hotels Venice Ai Tolentini

Close to the train station in Venice (about 5 minutes from there), the Hotel Ai Tolentini is a 1 star hotel in Venice and a good place to book if you are on a budget visiting Venice.  It’s close to the Piazza Roma, but you’ll have to pass over some canal bridges and climb some steps with your luggage.  Still, it’s worth looking into if you are seeking a cheap hotel in Venice.

The Hotel Ai Tolentini consists of seven rooms (singles, doubles and triples), spacious, basic, clean, but the bathrooms are a little moldy and some of the guests have complained about this.  There are two buildings associated with the hotel, the residence across the street is nicer.  The hotel is situated on a narrow pedestrian path, and it’s not too noisey.  You’ll find the staff are friendly and professional.  You’ll find the reception is open 24 hours.  They’ll give you tourist advice on the sites to see, shopping, restaurants to eat and the nightlife.  There are a variety of restaurants close to the hotel.  The good thing about this cheap hotel is that it’s close to everything and is a great deal.

Amenities included with your room include a bathroom with a shower, color TV, ceiling fans.  There is air conditioning in some of the rooms. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room but there are cafes a few steps away from which you can have your first meal of the day with some delicious Italian cappuccino.

The problem with hotels in Venice is that it’s a very expensive city to stay in and if you are going to stay in a cheap hotel in Venice, whether it’s a hostel, a 1 star, a 2 star or a 3 star, you’ve got to remember that you are not staying at the Ritz.  You will need to do your research to find the best accommodation that suits you and your budget.  Of course, you will look at location, read the hotel reviews, check out the prices.  You have to do your research and you will usually get what you pay for.  Also, consider that hotel prices vary over the year, fluctuating depending on the season.  You also have to book ahead because Venice is such a popular city for tourists to visit.  Everyone wants to come to Venice because it’s so beautiful, rich in history, gorgeous architecture, great restaurants, art galleries, lots of cultural attractions, etc., etc.  Remember too, that if you are going to book online for any hotel, including the Hotel Ai Tolentini, rates will vary from website to website.  The rate currently is under 100 euros per night.  It is cheapest to book on the Hotel Ai Tolentini’s website which is at www.albergoaitolentini.it.

Economically priced and one of the better 1 star hotels in Venice, the Hotel Air Tolentini is located at Calle Amai, Santa Croce 197/G. A good bargain among the cheap hotels Venice.
